Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park by car.

Hopefully, your flight is expected to arrive in Uganda early in the morning. Your safari will begin at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by your Driver/Guide, who will brief you regarding the next day in Uganda. Your driver guide shall then embark on a direct transfer to Queen Elizabeth as you begin the exploration of the fascinating savannah plains, the land of the Big 4 and beyond.

The park’s rich habitats, which include savannah, shady, tropical woodland, sparkling lakes, and fertile wetlands, make it an ideal habitat for the classic big game, ten primate species, including chimps, and over 600 bird species.

You will make a brief stopover for lunch along the way before entering the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most outstanding treasures. Upon your arrival at the park, if time allows, you can go on an evening game drive after checking into your accommodation, or you can simply choose to relax with your family at your accommodation (while waiting for the next day’s activities).

Early morning today, you shall wake up with a chilly or hot breakfast before embarking on a scenic game drive in the Kasenyi plains for the possible sightseeing of lions walking in the open grasslands, buffaloes standing steadily, the playful antelopes, sitatungas, waterbucks, bushbucks, baboons, manganese, warthogs, and many more species, all of which can only be seen during the game drive. The drive is very rewarding, and you shall enjoy it.

This 32-kilometer channel links Lake Edward and George and attracts a variety of birds, including migrant birds from neighboring countries, as well as a large concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Simply sit back, prepare your camera, and enjoy the rest of the trip.

Immediately after the Kazinga exploration, you have an optional sundowner experience in one of the park’s scenic sites.
