One of the most popular attractions is the impressive Nile River. What better way to admire it in all its glory than to actually get in it? White-water rafting and kayaking in the rapids of this powerful river is an experience unlike any other. If tackling the raging rapids sounds a bit hard core for your taste, there’s also a variety of tranquil cruises to enjoy in the calmer sections of the water, including a peaceful steam powered boat cruise or sunset cruise.
After having an early morning breakfast, drive to the East, to Jinja district, along the way you will have a lot of sights to see, and you will not be bored in any way since there is a lot to see. Have a stopover around Sezibwa Falls for a guided nature walk and sighting seeing. Thereafter, head to Mabira forest where you will engage in a nature walk through the forest,here you will see a number of monkeys, different types of tree species, birds among others. Later, proceed to Jinja passing through different sugar and tea plantations. On reaching Jinja, you will visit the Bujagali falls, later take a boat to the source of the Nile and also visit Samuka Island where you will have a great time viewing birds.

Day 2: Relaxation & transfer to Kampala
After enjoying breakfast, set off for water rafting on the most popular falls in Uganda, the Bujagali falls. These rapids go about 10km down river of the source of the Nile which has turned it to be one of the best spots for water rafting and kayaking. You may go bungee jumping and get to know what it means to let out your heart or horse riding or quad biking. Jinja is so much full of adventure that one cannot be bored in any way. Feel the adventure all the way. In the afternoon after taking lunch, you may return to Kampala which marks the end of this adventurous expedition.

Best time to go
The best wildlife viewing months in Uganda are during the Dry seasons from June to August and December to February. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Rwanda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and one can’t avoid rain completely.
