2 Days Uganda Fly in Gorilla safari

Karibu Uganda “welcome to Uganda”. Your 2 days Uganda fly in Gorilla safari starts. You will take a domestic flight from Entebbe or Kajjansi to Kihihi Airstrip in Kisoro where you will be picked up by your tour guide who will drive to Buhoma in Bwindi. Check in at lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon, you will have a community visit that will immerse you into the rich and vibrant cultures of the Batwa people, the indigenous and inhabitants of Bwindi Forest.

Enjoy the traditional norms and local performance done by the Batwa as well as entertainment from the Batwa women. You also visit the local craft shops to buy souvenirs and art crafts. Retreat from the community visit and check at your Bwindi lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will head to Buhoma visitor centre for a briefing about your Gorilla trekking do’s and don’ts. Thereafter, you and 7 others will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, meet the park guides, rangers and porters who will accompany you to the forest to meet the incredible gorillas. Set off to the lush jungle forest with trekking sticks, crossing river streams with sightings of colourful bird species and other small primates like colobus monkeys.
Continue deep in the forest in search of the gorillas and upon seeing them, you will be given one magical hour to witness the gorillas in the misty jungle forest as they groom, play, feed mate and roam around the forest as you take photo graphs of a lifetime experience.

Thereafter gorilla trekking, you will walk back to the lodge for a lunch break and then transfer to Kihihi airstrip to catch up with your domestic flight back to Entebbe filled with everlasting memories of gorilla encounter.
