Upon your arrival in Uganda, our driver guide shall meet and greet with you. Immediately you will be briefed about your safari expectation for the next 7 days. after this, immediately embark on a transfer drive to Murchison Falls National Park, making a stopover for Ziwa rhino tracking before proceeding for the top of the falls hike.
After an encounter with the endangered white rhinos, orbits and antelopes in Ziwa, proceed to Murchison falls via Masindi. After lunch, you will enter the park by the Kichumbanyobo gate, see the top of the falls, and then continue to the lodge.
After breakfast at your lodge, go on a morning wildlife drive to the delta in the park’s northern section. Here is where you may see elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, cape buffaloes, leopards (on a fortunate day), and several antelope species such as Uganda Kobs, Jackson hartebeest, Orbits, and waterbucks, among other great sightings.
In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride down the bottoms of Nile River to visit the majestic Falls. Regarded as one of the world’s fastest waterfall, sail to the bottom of the falls to sightsee great aquatics including; hippo and a variety of crocodiles among the sandbanks, as well as several bird species and enormous numbers of other animals getting down to drink and wash.
After seeing the falls, go up to the top of the falls via the Bakers route, where you can also see the falls from Bakers stone and return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Following an early breakfast, meet your driver/guide and take the 7 a.m. and embark on a very long drive to Kibale National Park. Arrive in Fort Portal late in the afternoon and proceed for a great crater hike or water falls hike in the Amabere Nga nyina Mwivu before driving to your Fort portal accommodation for your relaxation as you await tomorrows exciting chimpanzee trekking experience.
Enjoy an early breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on Chimpanzee trekking do’s and don’t’s before entering the jungle with the assistance of a park ranger and your tracking gear, packed water, and snacks.
Kibale Forest National Park is regarded one of world’s best chimpanzee trekking destination, featuring 13 primate species including the chimpanzees, the black and white colobus monkey, olive baboons, blue monkey, red-tailed monkeys and others.
This tracking takes between 2-5 hours from start to finish. After you locate the primates, you will spend an hour watching them, observing their behavior, and photographing them.
After lunch, you will travel for about 3 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping along the way to explore the Equator and the crater lakes. Afterward, you shall proceed to your safari lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Following breakfast, go on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi area. Expect to see the big four wildlife on the game drive, including antelopes, giraffes, warthogs, and white Colobus monkeys, to name a few. Afterward, join the 11 a.m. launch cruise through Kazinga canal to witness a variety of bird species, elephants and buffalos, hippos and crocodiles on the lakeshores.
After both activities, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will have supper and have a rest at your accommodation.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing on Mountain Gorilla trekking by the park warden. There, you shall register, have your temperature checked and have a simple entertainment from the local community women group.
This is also the time to check and ensure you have all the requirements such as enough water, packed lunch and snacks, walking stick and trekking boots.
Embark on a trail to the mountain gorillas in the jungle and upon meeting them, you have up to 60 minutes in the presence of gorillas as you observe them play, relate and feed. You will be able to watch and photograph wildlife up close.
You may take as many photos as you want. After seeing them, return to the headquarters to collect your Tracking certificate and embark on a transfer for a relaxing community boat trip in the lake of 29 islands and the second deepest lake in Africa.
Following an early breakfast, you begin your drive back to Entebbe or Kampala, stopping for lunch in Mbarara and a have another stopover near the Equator along Masaka Road. This is an 9-10-hour trip from Lake Bunyonyi. Depending on your desired drop off point, your driver guide shall take you accordingly.
