Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Bukima in Congo
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Kigali. A friendly driver will brief you on the safari before you head to Bukima in Congo. Enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive with a lunch stop in Gora town. After lunch, continue to Bukima for an overnight stay at Mikeno Lodge or Bulimna Tented Camp.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park-Congo
After an early breakfast, your guide will take you to the Park Headquarters for a briefing. Join others for instructions before embarking on a thrilling gorilla trek in the Virunga forest. The trek can last between 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Spend a magical hour observing the gorillas, capturing photos, and then return to the Park Headquarters to conclude the trek.

Day 3: Departure to Kigali to End the Tour
After breakfast, you’ll be driven back to Kigali for your post-tour accommodation or choose to fly out on the last day. Enjoy a scenic stop at the Rwanda-Congo border crossing for photos, souvenirs, or relaxation before continuing to Kigali.
